BARNSLEY travel to Preston tomorrow hoping to get the first win of Poya Asbaghi’s reign.
The Reds currently sit second-bottom of the Championship, eight points from safety.
New head coach Asbaghi is yet to win at Barnsley but the performances are on the up - and a 1-1 draw against Huddersfield last weekend at Oakwell showed positive signs that things are improving.
But, with only two wins all season, the Reds will be hoping to pick top three points to pull the side closer to safety.
Preston sacked their manager Frankie McAvoy earlier this week and replaced him with former Plymouth manager Ryan Lowe.
Lowe, a former Sheffield Wednesday player, has managed both Bury and the Devon club before taking charge at Preston.
The Lancashire side currently sit in 18th place having lost their last two league games.
The match kicks off tomorrow at 3pm at Deepdale.
