CARRIAGEWAY resurfacing will take place on a busy Barnsley road for up to five weeks from Tuesday.
The work on the A61 Sheffield Road, Birdwell, will be carried out in sections under temporary traffic lights, from New Plantation Wood to Worsbrough Road, and will take up to five weeks.
MOTORISTS have been warned to expect delays on one of the main routes into the town centre this weekend. Temporary traffic lights will be in place on Wakefield Road on Sunday.
The lights will be there while Openreach conduct work.
TEMPORARY traffic lights will be placed in Darfield next week. The lights will be on Edderthorpe Lane from Wednesday until Friday. Motorists have been warned of possible delays while Northern Powergrid work takes place.
