EMERGENCY engineering works underway at Elsecar are expected to cause delays until at least 5pm, according to Northern Rail.
The routes affected - Nottingham, Chesterfield, Sheffield, Meadowhall, Elsecar, Wombwell, Barnsley, Darton, Wakefield Kirkgate and Leeds also Sheffield, Meadowhall, Elsecar, Wombwell, Barnsley, Penistone, Brockhole and Huddersfield - means that disruptions are being caused, with delays expecting to run to 20 minutes.
Buses are replacing trains between Meadowhall and Barnsley and trains between Leeds and Nottingham are being diverted via Moorthorpe.
