It's that time of year again! Bonfire and firework displays will be taking place across the town, and we've created a WAB Guide so you can see where they are.
The Fitzwilliam Arms are putting on their annual fireworks display on Friday for you Hoylanders, if you fancy a pint and some pie and peas the fun starts at 6pm.
Hoyland Common Working Men’s Club are going all out too. On Friday they’ll be a bonfire, fireworks and live entertainment.
If you’re at the other side of town, Thurnscoe Working Men’s Club are doing their bit to entertain locals too, with fireworks, food and fun fair rides for the kids on Thursday, doors open at 5pm.
If you’re in Poggy, but you still fancy a pint, head down to the Tommy Treddlehoyle on Saturday, they’ll be fireworks on from 7.30pm.
For something family friendly get yourself to Locke Park. There’s a fun fair for the little ones and stalls to keep the older ones occupied and well fed. Fireworks start at 7.30pm on Saturday.
If you fancy a run out, Wentworth Castle are holding a good old fashioned family fireworks evening on Saturday at 6pm.
Clifton Park are also have a family focus, with fairground rides and fireworks for children at 6.45pm and the main fireworks display at 7.45pm on Thursday.
Cannon Hall’s fireworks display is on Sunday November 6. There’s tractor rides and food stalls.
The Fairway at Dodworth is having a bonfire on Saturday. It's free entry, and they're having an outside bar, a BBQ and a firework display. It kicks off at 6pm.
Wooley Miners Welfare is having a bonfire and firework display on Saturday, at 6pm. It's £2 and £1 for kids.
If you're in Wombwell, the Ash Inn's bonfire event is on Friday, from 6pm. It's free entry, and they'll be having a firework display, pie n peas and BBQ food.
If you're in Athersley, the annual community bonfire takes place on Saturday from 6pm, at Athersley Rec on Sheerian Park. It's £1 for adults, 50p for kids whild under 5s go free.
Dodworth Central Social Club will have a bonfire and firework display from 6pm on Thursday. Pie n peas and hotdogs will be available.
