A FREE inclusive cricket hub relaunched this week – and the sessions will run every Thursday.

The event will run each Thursday from 4.30pm to 5.30pm at Barnsley College’s Honeywell campus.

The hub has been launched in a bid to make cricket the most inclusive sport in the UK.

SEND development officer at the Yorkshire Cricket Board, Brady Saunders, said: “It is absolutely free for any young person aged 12 to 25 with SEN or a disability.

“Each session will be fun, inclusive for all and it’s a great opportunity to meet new friends and learn some fantastic skills.

“The hub is being run in partnership with Barnsley College, The Yorkshire Cricket Board and Higham Cricket Club.

“The college will be the main host venue but we will move to Higham CC during the summer months to give the participants an experience of being part of a cricket club.
