FOUR deliberate blazes were started in Barnsley on Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
Firefighters from Cudworth station were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 8pm on West Road, Pogmoor. The crew left the scene at 8.30pm.
A crew from Barnsley station then tackled a blaze involving trees on Worral Close, Ward Green, at 8.15pm. They left the scene at 8.50pm.
Then, at 10.40pm in Goldthorpe, firefighters from Dearne station extinguished a fire involving rubbish on Cooperative Street.
A fire crew from Barnsley station attended a deliberate fire involving a carpet and rubbish at 6.35pm on Elmhirst Lane, Dodworth. They came away at 7.05am.
